FAQs

Where can you recommend for coffee and cake?

We’re lucky to be by The Old Tannery so we highly recommend coffee and cake (or breakfast, lunch or dinner!) here. You can find more inspiration on our Routes page or our blog articles we did for Jungle Cottages.

What do I need to bring?

Weather appropriate clothing and a backpack to carry things like personal belongings and water. In the warmer months don’t forget sun cream and sunglasses!

Do you provide helmets for my hire?

Yes – we will provide you with a helmet or you can bring your own if you prefer. In line with our terms and conditions, all riders must wear a helmet. No helmet no hire.

Do you offer a delivery service?

No – we don’t offer a delivery service at this time.

Where do I collect and drop-off my bike(s)?

The Red Brick Building, BA6 9FT – approx 20 minutes walk from Glastonbury High Street.

What time shall I arrive?

Your hire is from 09:00 – 17:00. Please be aware fees are applicable for late returns.

Do I need to pay a security deposit?

Yes – we process security deposits via your payment card you used to book. We require £250 per bike and make the charge up to 4 days before your hire.

How much range does the bike have?

Each bike is different but as a guide we say 40 miles. How long the battery will last is dependant on a number of factors such as terrain and speed. If you find yourself out of juice, you can still pedal, you’ll just be working harder for that coffee stop!

How long will it take for my security deposit to be back in my bank?

The average time is 2 days but each bank is different.

Do you offer guided tours?

Yes – this is subject to availability so please contact us before booking. Extra charges will apply.

Do you have anymore bikes available?

If you can’t see any suitable availability we’re sold out, sorry. Our friends at Glastonbury Bicycles might be able to help with non-electric hire and additional bikes such as kids bikes.

Do you provide phone holders so I can follow a route on my phone?

Yes! Go to our Routes page where you can get some inspiration and download routes directly onto your phone
